Minoxidil (rogaine) is one of the best treatments for hair loss. This treatment prevents the process before the problem worsens. The treatment works in a way that it causes the vessels to open up and improves the development of fresh hair by promoting the flow of blood towards the follicles. This is treatment is both in oral and also topical forms. However the topical one is much known because they are straight applied on ones scalp, this increases the level of absorption of the drug improving its efficiency. There are various products which have this drug in them as a vigorous component and the most well known is still the Rogaine.

However the minoxidil (rogaine) is mostly designed for women, but men can also use it. It is created in a way that it deals with baldness and also trimming of the hair. This product has also been allowed by the FDA to advance hair growth, the other type is the Finasteride. This treatment does not only slow down baldness but also arouse the obsolete hair follicles if one gets to apply it early. They are also in two strengths which include standard variant contents which is 2% and the strongest has a solution of 5%. The 2% is mostly used by women whereas the 5% is usually used by men. The women are asked to use the weak solution because if they use the strong solution, they could grow hair up to their face.

Once you have started to use minoxidil (rogaine), you are advised to use it frequently. This is because the returns of using minoxidil (rogaine) can fast lose if you do not use it regularly. This product should be used immediately after you notice that you are using hair. This is because this product does not revitalize follicles which are already dead, but stimulates the growth of hair for the follicles which are still alive. There are various signs which show the losing of hair and these include chunks of hair on your comb after combing, a hairline which is moving back forming an M shape. The hair on your crown also begins to thin. Your hair could also look limper than usual.

There are numerous factors which may cause baldness apart from aging and genetics, and they are also the same factors which could bring about the growth of hair. Poor diet and stress could bring about loss of hair but minoxidil (rogaine) still stands as the chief cure for baldness. This is the only treatment for women which has been authorized by the FDA. This was first used as a medicine for treating high blood pressure and then people who started using it were noticed to grow excess hair. This is what caused it to be approved by the FDA service to be used by women and men who are suffering from hair loss.

The chief importance for the minoxidil (rogaine) is to motivate the capability of hair growth but does not revive hair loss, however it overrides the process. This is drug is known to be the perfect hair loss treatment and with very few side effects. Minoxidil is also referred to as rogaine and it can be used by Propecia to handle male problem of baldness.
